The Lil Peter children’s book series is written by husband-and-wife team Peter Valdez III and Tasche Laine, who bring together personal experience, family values, and a shared belief that some of childhood’s most important lessons can be taught through a great story.Many of the adventures and situations found throughout the Lil Peter series are inspired by real childhood experiences, family memories, and the everyday challenges children face while growing up. Those experiences are transformed into colorful, relatable stories that give young readers characters they can connect with and lessons they can understand.
At the heart of the series is a desire to help children become kind, confident, compassionate, and resilient. Lil Peter and the people around him don’t always have all the answers. They make mistakes, face challenges, learn about friendship and family, and discover that growing up often means learning how our choices affect the people around us.
